I’m honoured to be a member of The D-Day Juniors, a youth troupe created as the younger counterpart to the D-Day Darlings, who are known for their beautiful wartime and patriotic performances. Our mission is to help keep the spirit of remembrance alive by sharing the stories of our war heroes with modern and future generations through music.
As part of The D-Day Juniors, I’m proud that we aim to honour the key figures and moments from Britain’s military history through both new and classic songs. We’re also official fundraisers for the Royal British Legion, following in the footsteps of Dame Vera Lynn, who dedicated her life to supporting veterans.
We perform patriotic and wartime songs, both traditional and original, inspired by WWII and British heritage. We appear at national events such as Remembrance Day ceremonies, military commemorations, and concerts alongside the D-Day Darlings. Through these performances, we help raise awareness and support for veteran charities and remembrance initiatives, while engaging young audiences and bridging the gap between history and today’s generation through the power of music.
Through our performances on TV, in concerts, and at national remembrance events, we hope to continue sharing the message and music of remembrance, ensuring that the sacrifices made by those before us are never forgotten.
